Revanth Reddy to Open Hyderabad Steel Flyover Thursday
A new flyover is opening in Hyderabad on Thursday.
It is called the Chanchalguda–Santoshnagar Steel Flyover.
The road is 3.32 kilometres long and has four lanes.
It connects several busy areas, including Chanchalguda, Saidabad and IS Sadan.
Today, a trip between Chanchalguda Printing Press and IS Sadan can take about 30 minutes in heavy traffic.
Officials expect the flyover to reduce that trip to about five minutes.

The project was delayed for four years because of the Covid-19 pandemic and land acquisition problems.
It may also help people travelling to defence research offices.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the 3.32-km, four-lane Chanchalguda–Santoshnagar Steel Flyover on Thursday.
The corridor connects Chanchalguda, Saidabad and IS Sadan, enabling signal-free travel from Nalgonda crossroads to Owaisi Hospital.
The project includes a 2.53-km main viaduct and a 200-metre up-ramp at the IS Sadan junction.
The flyover is expected to cut peak-hour travel between Chanchalguda Printing Press and IS Sadan from about 30 minutes to five minutes.
The inauguration follows a four-year delay attributed to the Covid-19 pandemic and land acquisition issues.
