GHMC Intensifies Hyderabad Monsoon Cleanup With Pothole Repairs

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is carrying out a 10-day cleanup campaign in Hyderabad.

The campaign runs from August 11 to 21.

Workers are repairing potholes and cleaning places where rainwater collects.

They are also removing garbage, mud and construction waste.

These efforts are meant to keep roads and drains clear during the monsoon.

Officials are warning people about mosquitoes and illnesses linked to dirty or stagnant water.

Teams also checked toilets, installed waste bins and started rainwater harvesting work.

The campaign included cleaning parks and teaching students and residents about sanitation.
