Vijayawada Division Sets Record With 91.28% Monthly Punctuality

The Vijayawada Railway Division set a new record for trains arriving on time.

In August 2026, its monthly punctuality reached 91.28 percent.

Its earlier record was 90.80 percent in July 2026.

Railway officials said the improvement came from carefully watching train movements and coordinating work.

They also said efficient operations helped trains run on schedule.

Divisional Railway Manager Mohit Sonakiya praised the railway workers.

He said their teamwork and dedication made the achievement possible.

The Division wants to keep improving train services and punctuality.
