Mumbai Traffic Restrictions Announced For Worli Dahi Handi Utsav
A Dahi Handi festival will take place at Jambori Maidan in Worli on September 5, 2026.
Many teams are expected to travel to the event.
This could make nearby roads very crowded.
Because of this, vehicles will not be allowed on part of G.M. Bhosle Marg.
Parking will also be banned on both sides of that road.
The restrictions will begin from noon.
Emergency and essential-service vehicles will still be allowed.
Drivers should follow the alternative routes and instructions from traffic police.
Traffic restrictions will apply in Worli on September 5, 2026, for the Parivartan Dahi Handi Utsav.
Vehicle entry will be barred on both carriageways of G.M. Bhosle Marg between Worli Naka and Kurne Chowk.
No-parking restrictions will apply on both sides of the affected stretch from noon onward.
Essential-service vehicles, including police, fire brigade, ambulance and government vehicles, will be exempt.
North- and south-bound motorists have been directed to use Dr. Annie Besant Marg and Pandurang Budhkar Marg.
