Indore Anant Chaturdashi Procession Brings Major Traffic Diversions
Indore will hold a large Anant Chaturdashi procession on September 25.
Many decorated displays, called tableaux, will travel through the city.
Traffic changes will start at 3 pm and continue until the procession ends.
Some roads will be closed or restricted so the procession can move safely.
Parking will not be allowed in several busy areas.
Heavy vehicles will also be stopped on certain roads.
Ambulances, fire trucks and police vehicles can still travel normally.
People are advised to use alternative routes and avoid unnecessary travel in crowded areas.
Traffic diversions for Indore’s Anant Chaturdashi procession will begin at 3 pm on September 25.
Tableaux will assemble at DRP Line Square before moving through major roads to Rajwada and Nagar Nigam.
Vehicle entry will be prohibited along the procession route, with several roads and heavy-vehicle corridors restricted.
Parking will be banned near areas including Nandlalpura, Yashwant Road, Rajwada and Krishnapura Bridge.
Emergency vehicles will remain unaffected, while residents can report problems at 7049107620 or through the Indore Traffic Saathi app.
