Pune will celebrate Janmashtami on September 4 and Dahi Handi on September 5.

These celebrations may bring many people onto the roads.

To help manage traffic, police will close some roads and send vehicles along different routes.

Changes will happen in several parts of the city, including central Pune.

Most changes will start at 4 pm and last until crowds become smaller.

One Bundgarden road may be closed from 8 am until midnight on September 5.

Drivers should follow the alternative routes and traffic officers’ instructions.

Ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles can still use the restricted roads.

Police may change the arrangements if traffic or crowds require it.
