Himachal Rain Deaths Reach 70, Damage Crosses Rs 910 Crore

It has been raining a lot in a place called Himachal Pradesh, which is a mountainous state in India.

The rain has been very heavy and has caused big problems.

Because of the rain, 70 people have died over the last 43 days.

One of the people who died was a pregnant woman.

The rain also caused mudslides and very strong sudden storms called cloudbursts.

These events have blocked 204 roads, so people cannot travel easily.

The rain has also damaged roads, buildings, and other public property.

The damage is worth more than 910 crore rupees, which is a very large amount of money.

The government's emergency center, called SEOC, has been counting all of this damage.

The government started keeping track on June 30 and the report goes up to August 11.
