Mumbai Biker Dies While Allegedly Overtaking Dumper Near Airoli
A 25-year-old man named Gunjan Anil Mishra was riding a motorcycle toward Mulund early Wednesday morning.
Police said the crash happened near Airoli Bridge.
An eyewitness told police that Mishra was travelling quickly.
The witness said Mishra first passed a car and then tried to pass a large dumper.
The motorcycle reportedly lost control and hit the back of the dumper.
Mishra was badly injured in the crash.
Doctors at Veer Savarkar Hospital said he had died before he could be admitted.
Police have opened a case and are investigating what happened.

Navghar police registered an FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Sections 106(1), 125 and 281, and the investigation continues.
