58-Year-Old Woman Killed by Speeding Dumper in Mumbai's Mazgaon
A 58-year-old woman named Laxmibai Narsana Kopul was walking on a road in Mumbai.
A fast-moving dumper hit her on the night of August 22.
The vehicle reportedly ran over her leg and head.
The driver allegedly left the scene instead of helping her.
Local people chased the dumper and stopped it nearby.
Police then arrested the driver, Kumar Horilal Gupta.
Kopul was taken to Sir J.J. Hospital, but doctors said she had already died.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
