Mexico plans restrictions on violent online content for minors
Mexico wants social media platforms to keep children and teenagers from seeing violent or sexually explicit material.
The plan would also require tools such as age-based content labels, reporting options and default privacy protections.
The government says platforms should remove accounts or content that promote violence.
The proposal follows a deadly attack at a school in Torreón.
