Sébastien Loeb tests Project Rally One’s 2027 WRC car
Sébastien Loeb has tested a new World Rally Championship car being developed by the Belgian team Project Rally One.
The test took place in France’s Vosges region, where Loeb drove mainly on dry roads.
Teemu Suninen tested the car the day before in rainy conditions.
Project Rally One says feedback from both drivers was positive and helped with development.
The car is built to the championship’s 2027 technical rules, and the team hopes to enter two cars in selected events next year.
It is aiming for a debut at the Monte Carlo season opener in January, but has not confirmed when the car will first compete.
The team is preparing documents for approval by the FIA, the sport’s governing body, and plans to submit them by the end of the month.
Nine-time World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb tested Project Rally One’s 2027-specification World Rally Championship car in France earlier this week.
