Kinder Morgan resumes gas shipments to Mexico after pipeline repairs

Kinder Morgan says it is restoring gas shipments to Mexico after repairing its pipeline.

The repairs followed problems that led the company to close some sections.

Mexico gets about 75% of the gas it uses from Texas, so interruptions can put pressure on its electricity system.

Officials said there was no gas crisis, and Pemex was producing more gas in Mexico.
