Karl Lagerfeld brand unveils first residential project in Mexico

Karl Lagerfeld and Grupo Bosque Real have presented the fashion brand’s first residential project in Mexico.

The tower will have 38 floors and 73 homes in the Bosque Real development in Huixquilucan, in the State of Mexico.

The project includes two penthouses and one ground-floor apartment.

Interiors were designed with The One Atelier, under the supervision of the brand’s creative director for interiors, Caroline Lebar.

Shared spaces will include a private cinema and furniture from Karl Lagerfeld Maison, while a tall stainless-steel library is intended to reflect the designer’s love of books.

Bosque Real has already developed branded residences with other companies, and its representative said Mexican buyers are drawn to buildings linked to brands.

The project adds to the brand’s international residential developments in Spain and Portugal, as well as its hotel in Macao.
