Thai princess promotes the country’s films and culture in Busan
Thai Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya attended a Thai cultural event in Busan on October 11, during the Busan International Film Festival.
She urged people to look beyond familiar ideas about Thailand and pay attention to its people, industries and creativity.
Three Thai films are being shown at the festival.
Ubolratana also praised Blackpink’s Lisa, saying her solo work helps bring Thai culture to audiences around the world.
Thailand is the guest country at the festival’s Asian Contents & Film Market, which runs from October 10 to 13 at BEXCO in Busan.
The market has a Thai pavilion intended to connect Thai companies with overseas buyers, investors, producers and media.
Its “Thailand: The Next Move” program will explore international co-productions using Thai intellectual property.
