Trailer released for Scarlett Johansson’s The Exorcist: Martyrs
The first full trailer for The Exorcist: Martyrs has been released.
Scarlett Johansson plays Julie Miller, a New York City detective who previously helped bring serial killer Father Sunday to justice.
Thirteen years later, her name appears in blood at a murder scene, drawing her into a new investigation.
The case appears to connect a series of killers to an evil force beyond the human world.
Miller is helped by a former prison chaplain, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, and rookie detective Gina Restrepo, played by Sasha Calle.
Mike Flanagan wrote and directed the film, which combines supernatural horror with a serial-killer story and introduces new characters rather than continuing 2023’s The Exorcist: Believer.
The film is scheduled to open in cinemas on March 12, 2027.
