Shinhan launches Kurly card with up to 7% in Kurly rewards

Shinhan Card has introduced a credit card for purchases on Kurly, a shopping platform.

The card returns 7% of Kurly spending as rewards that can be used in the Kurly app, with each reward point worth one won.

Kurly’s paid membership can offer up to another 7% in rewards, bringing the combined rate to as much as 14%.

The card’s monthly rewards limit depends on how much the cardholder spent in the previous month, and Kurly purchases count toward that spending.

Shinhan plans a launch promotion that raises the monthly limit for Kurly rewards to as much as 50,000 won.

Cardholders who meet the spending requirement can also receive a monthly discount of 1,900 won on the Kurly membership fee, which is currently 1,900 won.

The card offers rewards at some other merchants too, but those benefits have their own spending requirements and limits, and the card has an annual fee.

For purchases outside Kurly, the rate ranges from 0.2% to 3% at listed domestic merchants and is 1.5% overseas.
