Home secretary asks police chiefs to share intelligence ahead of CJP protest

The Cockroach Janta Party was denied permission to hold a protest march in Delhi on October 10.

Home secretary Govind Mohan asked police chiefs across India to share intelligence and coordinate with Delhi Police.

He said there were concerns that the group and its supporters might try to enter Delhi without permission.

The coordination is intended to help maintain public order.
