Hot Water and Edward Said: Between Worlds win top Bend Film Festival prizes
The Bend Film Festival in central Oregon gave out awards for its 23rd edition, which wrapped on Sunday.
Hot Water, the debut feature by Ramzi Bashour, won Best Narrative Feature.

In his own words more than two decades after his death, through the archive recordings of his own voice, Edward Said: Between Worlds is a nuanced, timely, and reflective film of the complicated Palestinian identity after the war in 1948 as well as a portrait of the Palestinian academic who advocated for coexistence in a time where such voices were few and far between.
