Arguments erupt among contestants on Promi Big Brother

Several contestants on the German reality show Promi Big Brother argued after comments about former footballer Christian Lell’s past were repeated inside the house.

The dispute began days earlier, after actress Anouschka Renzi told streamer Nina Bridney that Lell had joked about starting a family with her.

Renzi also recalled headlines about violence involving Lell, whose cases were discontinued.

Bridney later told Lell that people in the house had discussed those headlines, and he asked who had made the comments.

The argument grew as contestants disagreed about what Bridney had said and whether others were letting people speak.

Bridney cried and said she wanted to go home, while Lell also became tearful.

Actor Gedeon Burkhard later confronted Lell for interrupting model Tessa Bergmeier as she tried to speak.
