ITV Studios Unveils New Shows and Format Deals at Mipcom

ITV Studios presented new and returning shows at the Mipcom television market in Cannes.

The company is developing scripted dramas and unscripted formats for broadcasters and streaming services.

Among the projects is “First Woman,” starring Andrea Riseborough as the first woman to walk on the moon, who then goes missing.

ITV also announced that “The Voice” has reached its 80th territory commission through a deal in Estonia.

The presentation comes as ITV is being split into two companies: Sky is acquiring its broadcast and digital platform, while ITV Studios is set to remain a standalone business.

ITV Studios also highlighted “Love Island,” whose U.S. edition is Peacock’s most-watched program ever, according to the company.

The new slate and partnerships show how ITV Studios is seeking opportunities amid changes in the media business.
