Justice Sheel Nagu recuses himself from Punjab government appeal

The Supreme Court is hearing Punjab’s challenge to a High Court order for a CBI investigation into an alleged bribery network.

The network is accused of influencing government postings, transfers and tenders.

Justice Sheel Nagu recused himself, and the case will be listed before a bench without him.

This changes who will hear the appeal, not the High Court order itself.
