Más Madrid offers Podemos places on its Madrid election list
Más Madrid has offered Podemos places on its list for Madrid in Spain’s November 29 general election, if Podemos joins the Frente Amplio coalition.
The proposed list would be led by Emilio Delgado, with Más Madrid leader and Health Minister Mónica García in second place.
It could also include current MP Tesh Sidi and Madrid city councillor Eduardo Fernández Rubiño.
Frente Amplio currently includes Más Madrid, Movimiento Sumar, Izquierda Unida and Comuns, while Podemos has not decided whether to join.
Agreement on the Madrid list is a major obstacle in coalition talks because the district is expected to offer more winnable seats than others.
