Wave by Vento ends in Turin with focus on Europe’s tech ambitions

Wave by Vento ended after three days in Turin.

It brought together 10,000 people from 117 countries to discuss technology, startups and investment.

The main challenge was how Europe can build tech companies able to compete with major US firms.

Dealroom data presented at the event put the value of European venture-backed companies at $4.4 trillion.
