Tata Motors raises Iveco offer to €14.40 per share
Tata Motors has raised its offer to buy all of Iveco Group to €14.40 per share, up from €14.10.
The offer is for Iveco, a company whose shares are traded on the Milan stock exchange.
Tata said the increase was linked to delays in getting some required approvals.
It described €14.40 as its best and final price and said it would not raise the offer again.
If all shares are tendered, Tata’s maximum payment would be about €3.91 billion, including an additional €81.36 million from the increase.
Iveco’s board supports the offer and has recommended that shareholders accept it.
Shareholders are also due to vote on related resolutions at an extraordinary meeting on October 16, 2026.
Tata Motors raised its offer for Iveco by €0.30 to €14.40 per share.
The revised offer has a maximum total cost of €3.91 billion.
Tata Motors described the new price as “better and final” and ruled out further increases.
The increase is linked to longer-than-expected timelines for obtaining some approvals needed to complete the transaction.
The higher price adds a maximum of €81.36 million to the cost and represents a 33.47% premium to Iveco’s share price on July 17, 2025.
