Abu Dhabi adds Ultrahuman health algorithms to its public health app
Abu Dhabi's Public Health Centre is adding Ultrahuman's health algorithms to Sahatna, the emirate's nationwide healthcare app.
Sahatna lets people manage their health, speak with doctors and access health and genetics records.
The app will estimate users' biological age, which can differ from their age in years.
The estimate uses Ultrahuman's Ultra Age metric, which combines sleep, cardiovascular and blood markers.
Users do not need an Ultrahuman ring because Sahatna's system works with different devices.
Officials say combining clinical and wearable data could help people understand how lifestyle affects long-term health and support earlier intervention and more tailored prevention.
It remains unclear whether officials will identify people for direct intervention or leave decisions to users.
The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre is partnering with Ultrahuman to add the company’s health algorithms to the Sahatna public health app.
The app will use Ultrahuman’s Ultra Age metric to show users their biological age.
Users will not need an Ultrahuman smart ring or other Ultrahuman device to use the feature.
The centre says combining clinical and wearable data could support earlier interventions, targeted prevention and more personalized recommendations.
It is not clear whether officials will use the system to identify individuals for direct intervention.
