Honda unveils CB250SS scrambler concept in China
Honda unveiled the CB250SS scrambler concept at the CIMA motorcycle trade show in Chongqing, China.
The bike has a retro scrambler look, with a round headlamp, tall handlebars and a ribbed seat.
Its parts point to road riding, rather than serious off-road use, with 17-inch alloy wheels, limited visible suspension travel and road-focused tyres.
The concept has a 249cc liquid-cooled engine, an assist and slipper clutch, and a TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity.
Honda says the engine is tuned for strong low-speed torque and smooth power delivery, but has shared few other details.
The bike may be limited to China, at least in the near future, and its chances of reaching India are described as slim.
If launched, it would add a scrambler-style option to the quarter-litre segment, which currently has no such offering.
