Timex launches $349 Pan Am Waterbury GMT watch in the US

Timex has launched the Pan Am x Timex Waterbury GMT in the United States.

The watch is made with Pan Am, the historic airline, and is available for pre-order on Timex’s US website for $349.

It uses a battery-powered quartz movement rather than an automatic movement.

Its GMT hand and 24-hour scale let the wearer track a second time zone, alongside the local time.

The watch also has a date display and a 50-meter water-resistance rating, but it is not intended for diving or snorkeling.

Its design includes Pan Am branding, a stainless steel case and bracelet, and a two-tone black-and-blue time scale.

No release date beyond the current pre-order availability is given.
