Two asteroids over 2 kilometres wide spin once every five minutes
Asteroids usually rely on gravity to hold their pieces together.
These two are so large and spin so fast that they should break apart if they were loose piles of rock.
They may instead be solid objects, which could change scientists’ ideas about how asteroids formed.
Scientists do not yet know what made them spin so quickly.
