New Principessa hotel brings understated luxury to Forte dei Marmi

The Principessa Forte dei Marmi opened in spring 2026 in the seaside town of Forte dei Marmi, in Italy’s Versilia region.

It is a boutique hotel in Marriott’s Autograph Collection, with just over 30 rooms and suites.

The town’s summer visitors often return to the same beaches and places each year, so a new hotel must find a place among long-established traditions.

The Principessa takes a quieter approach to luxury, with bright rooms, contemporary furnishings and an emphasis on space and calm.

It also has a small pool, breakfast service and paid parking.

For beach access, the hotel works with the nearby Bagno Costanza, which guests can reach on foot or by using the hotel’s bicycles.

The hotel is now open, and no further plans are stated.
