Caspian Airlines plane leaves Istanbul after 11-day hold over debt

Caspian Airlines plane leaves Istanbul after 11-day hold over debt

The plane was stopped at Istanbul Airport on September 28 because Caspian Airlines owed a monitoring firm €3 million.

Passengers were taken off the plane.

After the debt was paid, the plane left for Tehran 11 days later.

The incident shows how a company’s unpaid debt can delay flights and affect passengers.
