Parliamentary panel recommends moving NEET-UG to computer-based exams

The committee says major entrance exams, including NEET-UG, should move from paper to computer-based tests.

It also recommends updated question banks and secure digital delivery to reduce the risk of paper leaks.

A shared registry would help testing bodies identify vendors penalised for security failures or other breaches.

The panel says exam centres and digital systems must be reliable and fair for students.
