Delhi Police detain Left leaders ahead of protest demanding election chief’s resignation

Police detained several Left leaders before a planned protest in Delhi.

The protesters were calling for Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign.

They said they were defending the Constitution and the right to vote.

The detentions happened before the march could take place.
