Mick Gordon plans to take his Doom concert show on the road

Mick Gordon, the composer behind music for Doom and Doom Eternal, plans to perform the soundtracks live with a band and orchestra.

Two shows are announced for 2027: a headline performance at the UK’s RADAR festival on August 1, followed a few days later by a set at the Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic.

Gordon says he and his agency are discussing taking the show to festivals over the next two years.

He has received offers from European metal festivals and hopes to bring the performance to events around the world.

The show is intended to combine video game music with a live rock and metal concert, including a large mosh pit.

No further dates or locations have been confirmed.

Gordon says more news about the plans is expected.
