Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition arrives as a native Switch 2 game
Capcom has released Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition for Switch 2.
The game is a native version, rather than one streamed through the cloud.
Capcom’s earlier cloud releases of modern Resident Evil games on Nintendo Switch were controversial.
That made the cloud-based version of Resident Evil 2 less than ideal for some Switch fans.
The Switch 2 release gives players a different way to play the modern classic.
A review described the new version as brilliant, but no further release plans are given.
