Legacy Games to shut down, ending downloads of purchased games after February 2027

Legacy Games, a casual game store, is shutting down.

The store sells games that players can buy and download.

After February 2027, players will no longer be able to download or install purchased games.

That means players may not be able to reinstall those games through the store after that point.

The change limits access to games people have already bought.

It contrasts with the store’s “keep forever” slogan.

The announcement gives no further details about what will happen to purchases before the cutoff.
