BRI Named Indonesia’s Most Valuable Brand for Fourth Straight Year

Bank Rakyat Indonesia, or BRI, has again been ranked Indonesia’s most valuable brand.

Brand Finance valued its brand at $6.9 billion in its 2026 Indonesia 100 ranking, making this the fourth year in a row it has placed first.

A brand value is an estimate of the value associated with a company’s brand, not the value of the whole company.

The ranking lists 100 Indonesian brands with a combined value of $44.8 billion, and banks made up 45% of that total.

Brand Finance also gave BRI the country’s highest Sustainability Perceptions Value, at $328 million, reflecting how public views of its sustainability commitments contribute to its brand value.

BRI links its standing to its retail banking business, broad service network and role in expanding access to finance, and says it will continue to focus on service quality, financial inclusion, support for small businesses and responsible business practices.
