Sunitha Krishnan’s voter enumeration form rejected over missing 2002 records

Sunitha Krishnan and her husband say their voter forms were rejected because they did not provide details linking them to the 2002 voter list.

They had registered to vote for the first time three years ago and voted in 2024.

The couple says no official came to their home to deliver or collect the forms, and they received no notice asking for other documents.

They missed the deadline to seek re-enrolment, but plan to apply again with their parents’ details.
