South Australia open Sheffield Shield campaign with innings win over Victoria

South Australia began its Sheffield Shield season with a big win over Victoria.

They won by an innings, meaning Victoria did not score enough across its innings to make South Australia bat again.

South Australia are the competition’s two-time defending champions.

The report also says Weatherald has backing to return.
