Hasan Mahmud becomes Bangladesh’s first fast bowler to take a Test hat-trick
Bangladesh fast bowler Hasan Mahmud took a hat-trick against Afghanistan in a one-off Test in Abu Dhabi.
He dismissed Ismat Alam, Qais Ahmad and Zia-ur-Rehman with three consecutive deliveries on the third day.
The final dismissal was confirmed after Bangladesh reviewed an on-field decision, and video tracking showed the ball would have hit the stumps.
