Summerset reports 10% year-to-date sales growth as resales rise
Summerset Group, which operates retirement villages, reported 415 occupation right sales in the third quarter of its 2026 financial year.
These included 175 sales to new residents and 240 resales in established villages.
For the first nine months of the financial year, total sales reached 1,228, up 10% from the same period a year earlier.
Resales were a key driver, rising 36% in the quarter compared with the same quarter last year.
New sales were lower than a year earlier, as economic uncertainty made some prospective residents hesitant.
The company said sales contracts signed in the quarter rose 20% compared with the first two quarters of this year.
Summerset enters the final quarter with continued buyer interest, but settlements depend in part on residents selling their homes.
