macOS 27 adds resizable iPhone Mirroring and two other upgrades
Apple’s macOS 27 and iOS 27 updates add three changes to iPhone Mirroring, which lets people use an iPhone from a Mac.
Users can now resize the mirroring window, instead of choosing from three fixed sizes.
For now, resizing works with Apple’s built-in iPhone apps that are compatible with iOS 27.
The update also lets users open iPhone Control Center from the Mac with a keyboard shortcut or the View menu.
Protected videos that previously appeared as a black screen can now be watched through mirroring.
These changes give Mac users more control and access when using their iPhone from a computer.
macOS 27 and iOS 27 add three updates to iPhone Mirroring: resizable windows, Control Center access and support for DRM-protected video.
Resizing currently works with iOS 27-compatible apps, which means Apple’s native iPhone apps.
Users can open Control Center with the CMD+4 keyboard shortcut or through the Mac menu bar’s View menu.
DRM-protected videos that previously appeared as a black screen can now be watched through iPhone Mirroring.
