Apple reportedly plans touchscreen MacBook and iPad mini launch around October 27

Apple is reportedly planning a product event on or around October 27.

The company is expected to unveil its first touchscreen MacBook, along with a redesigned iPad mini and updated MacBook Pro and iMac models.

The touchscreen laptop may be called the MacBook Ultra and is expected to have an OLED display.

Reports differ on which chips it will use, while the updated MacBook Pro and iMac are widely expected to use M6 chips.

The new iPad mini is also expected to have an OLED display and an improved camera and speakers.

Apple has already announced a separate event for October 13, expected to focus on smart-home products.

The October 27 event has not been officially confirmed, and the devices’ prices are not known.
