Odette wine director Vincent Tan to join Park90 after 10 years
Vincent Tan is leaving his job as wine director at Odette after 10 years.
From Oct 19, he will become group wine director at Park90, a sommelier-led wine programme based at Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore.
Odette is a three-Michelin-starred restaurant, and Tan helped shape its wine programme.
Park90 has moved to the hotel’s Garden Terrace and now operates as an independent brand in partnership with the hotel.
It has more than 1,000 wine labels and plans to expand across Southeast Asia.
Tan says he wants the team to keep its individual character rather than all recommending the same wines.
Vincent Tan will leave his role as Odette’s wine director after 10 years to join Park90 as group wine director.
He is due to take over Park90’s wine direction from Oct 19.
Park90 has relocated to Pan Pacific Orchard’s Garden Terrace and operates as an independent brand in partnership with the hotel.
Tan says he wants the programme to reflect personality and discovery, with a team willing to challenge him.
He said Odette chef Julien Royer supported his decision to leave after a decade working together.
