Opposition leaders ask President Murmu to act against election chief

Opposition leaders met President Droupadi Murmu and accused officials of election wrongdoing.

Rahul Gandhi said Murmu asked them to provide evidence, though the President's office had not issued a statement.

The group called for changes to election rules and a halt to the voter roll review.

Gandhi said the leaders would take a memorandum to the Supreme Court.
