IMSS workers block Paseo de la Reforma over pay and medical supplies

IMSS workers are protesting in Mexico City after talks with the government broke down.

They want a 10% pay rise and reliable supplies of medicines and medical equipment.

The protest has closed Paseo de la Reforma in both directions between Circuito Interior and the Angel of Independence.

The closure is causing heavy traffic nearby and drivers are being advised to use other routes.
