BRI and Eastspring launch three mutual funds for investors

Indonesia’s Bank Rakyat Indonesia, known as BRI, and Eastspring Investments Indonesia launched three mutual funds on Oct.

8.

The funds are offered through BRI Wealth Management, the bank’s wealth management service.

Two funds invest mainly in bonds and are classed as medium risk, while the third tracks a stock index and is classed as high risk.

That index fund follows the IDX ESG Leaders index, which applies environmental, social and governance principles.

It is aimed at experienced investors planning to invest for more than five years.

Each fund has a minimum initial investment of Rp100,000, with the same minimum for additional investments.

The funds give customers more options to build portfolios around their investment goals and tolerance for risk.
