ASX raisings top $700 million, with investor returns mixed

Companies and funds raised more than $700 million from investors over two weeks.

L1 Global Long Short Fund accounted for most of that total, raising up to $482.7 million.

Some investors were ahead after the offers, while others faced losses as share prices moved.

These results show that taking part in a capital raising does not guarantee a profit.
