Telangana Tops National Rankings For Cybercrime Response · NDTV

Telangana is a state in India.

A big government office checks how well every state fights online crime.

Telangana came in first place out of all the states.

The judges checked nine different things, like helping people whose bank money is frozen and taking down bad websites.

Telangana uses special computer tools made by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre.

One tool helps fix problems with frozen bank accounts.

Another tool helps people get their money back after online fraud.

Telangana solved 2,086 out of 2,368 frozen-account problems.

It also handled about 28,000 money-restoration cases involving more than sixteen crore rupees.

The state even started a special phone helpline so people can call for help.
