Telangana Tops Cybercrime Control in PMO PRAGATI Review
Police in the southern Indian state of Telangana had a very busy week.
The country's Prime Minister's Office reviewed how well states stop online crimes, and it named Telangana the best state in the country.
The state's top police officer, C.V. Anand, congratulated the special cybercrime team led by Shikha Goel.
But there was also plenty of sad and serious news.
A man who twice won the special sweet laddu auction at his apartment complex is accused of taking more than 3 crore rupees from people and not returning their money.
Four people were arrested for hurting a woman in Jagtial after they threatened her with videos.
A gang wearing burqas stole a small gold chain from a jewellery shop in Tandur, and shop cameras caught them.
Police are also searching for three 13-year-old boys who went missing from Medak district.
A 40-year-old driver died when his tractor overturned in Khammam district.
Police say they are investigating all these cases and ask people to stay safe and careful.
