Cyber crime is when bad people use computers or phones to cheat others or steal their money.

The government of Andhra Pradesh, a state in India, is working hard to stop this.

They have decided to use smart technology to catch cheats before they can trick people.

A leader named G Sai Prasad told other important government officials about these plans.

The state has built special computer centres and faster systems to report online cheating.

If a person loses money to online cheats, the police now have a quicker way to try to get the money back.

So far, they have returned over one and a half crore rupees to people who were cheated.

The police also blocked many fake websites and found thousands of bank accounts used by cheats.

They are training special police officers, called cyber commandos, to fight online crime.

They are also teaching students, women, and older people how to stay safe on the internet.
